Most of the corn planted on dry land in disadvantaged areas and low productivity. Research has been conducted to a) examine corn agribusiness; b) know the level of adoption of cultivation technology, and c) analyze the relationship between the adoption of cultivation technology and agribusiness subsystems. The research location was chosen intentionally (purposive sampling) in the Sukamakmur sub-district. The research sample was taken from the population of corn farmers in Sukamakmur Village which has the largest area of corn planting. Respondents came from three groups that had the largest, second and third largest corn planting areas
70 people and proportionally determined. The results showed that in the Sukamakmur sub-district there were still subsystems in corn agribusiness that were classified as not good so it needed development. The adoption of cultivation technology is relatively good and there is a relationship with the agribusiness subsystem from low to moderate. In the context of developing corn agribusiness in the Sukamakmur District, the priority of subsystems that need successive development are the agro-production, agro-input, agro-industrial subsystems, agro-supporting services, and agro-marketing |
