Polisakarida Larut Air (PLA) sering disebut sebagai serat pangan larut air yang bersifat hidrokoloid.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik, kimia dan fungsional polisakarida larut air umbi talas.  Ekstraksi PLA dilakukan dengan 3 cara yaitu ekstraksi dengan air (aqueos), ekstraksi dengan cara fermentasi menggunakan ragi tempe dan ekstraksi dengan enzim papain.  PLA yang dihasilkan di uji karakteristik kimia dan fungsional meliputi rendemen, kadar air, kadar serat kasar, kadar pati, kadar glukosa, gula pereduksi, total gula, daya larut, viskositas (cP), dextrose equivalen, dan derajat polimerisasi. &#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukan ekstraksi PLA dengan ragi tempe menghasilkan PLA dengan tingkat kemurnian yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan ekstraksi dengan air dan ekstraksi dengan enzim papain, yang dapat dilihat dari kadar pati yang lebih rendah serta daya larut yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kedua metode ekstraksi lainnya. PLA yang dihasilkan dengan fermentasi dengan penambahan ragi tempe memiliki karakteristik sebagai berikut: rendemen 12,3533%, kadar air 2,8633%, kadar protein 3,3033%, kadar gula reduksi 0,0837%, kadar glukosa 0,0541%, total gula 1,7711%, daya larut 82,5200, Viscositas (cP) 0,9667, dextrose equivalen 4,7374 dan derajat polimerisasi 21,1578

In general, small-scale farmers in rural areas often experience obstacles in implementing technological innovations offered by agricultural extension workers. Obstacles can come from within the individual breeder himself. The theory of small farmers and the theory of collective action is expected to solve the obstacles to implementing these technological innovations. This study aims to analyze and find solutions to the obstacles to implementing technological innovation at the individual level of small farmers in rural &#13;
areas. Researchers took case study research with a research and development (R&amp;D) method approach to find the construction of a joint &#13;
venture model. Qualitative methods are used in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. At the same time, the quantitative descriptive research method is to evaluate the results of implementing the joint venture model. The population and the evaluation research sample &#13;
were members of the Ampelsari Makmur Jaya farmer group in Pasuruan Regency and the La Tulip Farmer/Women Group in Lamongan Regency. The number of respondents for the perception evaluation was 68, determined as a total sample. Data was collected through &#13;
participation techniques, in-depth interviews, FGDs and surveys. The evaluation perception was analyzed using descriptive analysis and Score T. The evaluation of respondents’ perceptions resulted in the farmers accepting the establishment of community-based business units (complete feed and pastured chicken business). The solution is also considered effective in solving the obstacles to applying &#13;

Rice is one of the leading commodities in Salamrejo Village, Karangan District, Trenggalek Regency, East Java. However, one of the main problems faced is that the income of rice farmers is not optimal in meeting household needs. Therefore, research is needed to analyze the problems as mentioned above. This study aims to: 1) Knowing the average income of rice farming per hectare in Salamrejo Village, 2) Knowing the simultaneous and partial effects of land, cost, quantity, price and experience factors on rice farming income in Salamrejo Village. The research method uses a survey type by using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research sample was determined using the simple random sampling type of probability sampling method. Data analysis used farming analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) The average income of rice farming per hectare in Salamrejo Village is Rp 15,562,431 in one growing season, 2) Individually, land has no effect, cost has a negative and significant effect, quantity has a positive and significant effect, price has a positive and significant effect, and experience has no effect, price has an effect positive and significant, and experience has no effect on rice farming income in Salamrejo village, 3) Taken together on cost, quantity, price and experience have a positive and significant effect on rice farming income in Salamrejo village.

One of the problems faced by maize farmers in Sumberpucung District, Malang, East Java, is the relatively small scale of the business, which has implications for high production costs. Efforts that can be taken to resolve these problems include a partnership pattern. This study aims to determine the feasibility of a partnership pattern and to analyze its effect on the income of maize farmers in Sumberpucung District. The research method is survey. Marginal benefit cost ratio (MBCR) analysis aims to determine the feasibility of partnership pattern farming and simple linear regression analysis is used to determine the effect of partnerships on income. The research object is the maize farmers who have partnered and who have not partnered in Sumberpucung District. The sampling technique used stratified proportional random sampling with a sample size of 76 people who were determined using the Slovin formula. The results showed that the income of partnership- patterned maize farmers was greater than that of non-partnership maize farmers with a difference of Rp 7,573,000/ha. Analysis of the marginal benefit cost ratio (MBCR) with a value of 9.98 (&gt; 1) proves that the partnership pattern of maize farming is feasible to apply. This means that each additional cost of Rp 1 will increase the benefits of farmers by 9.98. Regression analysis shows that the partnership has a significant effect on the income of maize farmers. Hypothesis testing shows the significance value of the partnership variable is 0.000 (&lt;0.05). Thus H_1 is accepted, which means that the partnership has a significant effect on farmers’ income.
